THE USE OF AN ABANDONED BUILDING

There are so many buildings in the world which nobody knows what to do with.

„DAS WIENERWALD“ - project was founded for that reason. Thirteen completely different artists from Europe went to work for a week in an empty, shabby restaurant in the center of Vienna.

Armed with hundred liters of paint and different styles we tried to give the old restaurant a brand new look.

This online issue published by „ein WANDBLATT aus WIEN“ shows the one week-long working process, all finished pieces and how we managed to work with our daily hangover.
