Daily News!

Today’s festival program was featured in a special section, Experience Riverdale, produced by the Daily News in partnership with the Kingsbridge-Riverdale-Van Corltandt Development Corp./KRVC. On May 1st, 2014, 80,000 copies of the section were distributed in the Bronx, Lower Westchester and Upper Manhattan. Another 5,000 copies were distributed by hawkers in high-traffic commuting areas on May 2nd. There are three hundred copies of the section at today’s festival. The section also in-cluded a festival ad, similar to the one on the back of this publication, which featured the logo of all our sponsors. Some of our sponsorship packages for today's festival included quarter and even full page ads in the section.

Luke Montgomery runs Kids Rock U, which features the Music for Aardvarks children's music program for Riverdale and the Bronx. He has been holding music classes in the lower level studio at Sotheby's International Realty at 3732 Riverdale Avenue for two years now, and in that time membership has grown into the hundreds of families. Children 0-5 and their parents love singing, dancing, and jamming out on the instruments his classes provide. He is a lifelong professional musician who happens to genuinely like children, so this is the perfect "gig" for him. Kids were invited to attend a complimentary class today at 2pm. [email protected]
