NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL AFFILIATIONS

AFFILIATIONS IN CANADA

Member of the Innovation Systems Research Network (ISRN). The ISRN is a network of researchers examining innovation in various cities and regions across Canada. The members of the network are loosely associated with four sub-networks: in Atlantic Canada, Québec, Ontario, and Western Canada. The ISRN's goal is to better understand how economic, social, and political conditions influence innovation and hence economic development at the local, regional, and national level.

Member of the Administrative Sciences Association of Canada (ASAC). ASAC is a professional society of those interested in the scholarship, teaching, and practice of management. Our members are based in business and related faculties in Canadian and international post-secondary institutions as well as private and public sector organizations.

INTERNATIONAL AFFILIATIONS

Invited professor at the University of Stellenbosch Business School (USB) in Cape Town (South Africa) from 2012 to 2014. USB is recognised as a top school in the international business school network. It was the first school from an African university to receive all three international accreditations: AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA.

Member of the scientific panel of the International Society for Professional Innovation Management network. ISPIM is a network of researchers, industrialists, consultants, and public bodies who share an interest in innovation management.

Member of International Scientific Comity of the Triple Helix Association (THA). The THA intends to promote analyses and studies on the interaction between universities, firms, and government aimed at translating academic models into practical achievements, also by supporting international exchanges of scholars, organizing international symposia of relevant scientific interest, and assisting the education of students, scholars, and practitioners in their areas of interest.

Member of the University Industry Innovation Network (UIIN). The UIIN is a dynamic network of academics, practitioners, and business professionals passionate about advancing university-industry interaction, entrepreneurial universities, and collaborative innovation. Members of UIIN include Higher Education Institution managers, intermediaries, researchers from various fields, business professionals, and policy makers.

Member of the Conference on Systems of Innovation and the New role of Universities Network. The COSINUS provided a platform to academics, researchers, and practitioners for an interdisciplinary discussion focusing on the theme of the conference “University-Industry Interactions.
