Organizational Culture: Is the pattern of basic assumptions that a given group has invented, discovered, or developed in learning to cope with its problems of external adaptation and internal integration, and that have worked well enough to be considered valid, and, therefore, to be taught to new members as the correct way to perceive, think, and feel in relation to those problems.

FeasibilityDoes the target set of practices constitute a

coherent, stable system? Are the current practices coherent and stable? Is the transition

likely to be difficult?

Are we better off instituting the new

system in a greenfield site? Or can we

reorganize the existing location at a reasonable

cost?

Pace and nature of change.

Should the change be slow or fast,

incremental or radical? Which blocks of

practices, if any, must be changed at the

same time?

Have we considered the insights from all stakeholders? Have we overlooked any important practices or interactions? What

are the greatest sources of value?
