There were 3 major projects in total in the semester:
Project 1
• Produce a Graphical timeline of Vietnam • Produce a Culture Journal of Vietnam

Working in groups of 2, we are required to:
Rise of Civilization
The Objectives of Project 1: • To explore to the rise of human
civilization through research and analysis
• To study the change of human living from Neolithic period to Civilizations
• To demonstrate the various factors and issues that developed a particular civilization
• To develop skills in gathering information and synthesizing relevant information into a concise presentation
The Graphical timeline of Vietnam
• From the Paleolithic period to the 21st century.

The Learning Outcomes of Project 1: I have understand the rise and fall of Human Civilization through research & analysis.
I have also understand the various factors and issues that contributes to the characteristic of a civilization.
Gained a deeper understanding on the civilization as well as culture of Vietnam as a country.
I have fully understand the importance of teamwork!
Project 2
• Produce a costume & runway show based on a research on Egypt
• Produce an interior model, that would demonstrate your understanding of Egypt.

elements such as the culture, social strata, architecture, and style.
EGYPT CIVILIZATION
The Objectives of Project 2(a) & (b): • To examine the similarities
and differences between Eastern and Western civilizations.
• To understand the culture of the given civilization and the dressings of the people during that era.
• Nephthys is the goddess of nature, lamentation, sleep, river and rebirth.
• Appearance : She was described as having long black hair and regal
features, like Isis, but kinder eyes and smile. She was dressed in a green
dress and a golden Egyptian crown.
• Personality : She is kind and caring. Although her powers and abilities still
remain vague, it is said that she has the power to resurrect the dead as well
as take away the life of one.

Necklace
The necklace is an important piece in the costume. It symbolizes Nephthys toetomic form.
Headdress
The headdress mimics the shape of a vase. It brings a symbol that Nephthys collects the lost souls and resurrects them.

The 5 petal-like charms on the necklace symbolizes the five jobs of Nephthys.

The Learning Outcomes of Project 2(a): I have understand the differences and similarities between Western and Eastern Civilizations.
I have also learnt how to sew! A very important skill to pick up, even as an architect!
Gained a deeper understanding on the culture of Egypt and their costumes as well as rituals.
I have fully understand the importance of applying creativity in my works!

The Learning Outcomes of Project 2(b): I have understand and able to recall the differences and similarities between Western and Eastern Civilizations.
I have also learnt how to make small miniature human beings! A very important skill to pick up, and it was fun!
Gained a deeper understanding on the culture of Egypt and their costumes as well as rituals.
I have fully understand the importance of presentation skills and documentation of the project.
Project 3
• To produce a site route to identify the chosen route. This route has to be related to the theme and concept that has been generated. The final outcome for this project would be a postcard series. You are also required to research on postcard designs and produce a packaging that would compliment the final postcard series design.

The Learning Outcomes of Project 3: I have understand and able to recall the differences and similarities between Western and Eastern Civilizations.
I have also learnt how to appreciate cendol and rojak! These are the Malaysian delicacies that would forever be imprinted in my childhood!
Gained a deeper understanding on the culture of Malaysians and the tradition practiced by them
I have fully understand the importance of presentation skills and documentation of the project.
