This dynamic scale and modern restaurant is garnering much attention as the latest dining hot spot to accommodate various business scenes. The California 101 building where “PABU” is located inside is one of the high-rise buildings representative of San Francisco’s finani- cal districts. Cable cars pass the streets, where the premises of the large building includes a courtyard where local profes- sionals come and go. The inside of the restaurant is modern with a high-end ambiance, a high ceiling with plenty of sunlight coming in through the all-glass windows and comfort comparable to a hotel. The interior is divided into four sections - a square-shaped bar, table, and lounge to the right side where customers can order menu selections outside of the bar menu. Some customers flow in as dinner customers following the happy hour. The counter is spacious along with table seats with plenty of room between the layout, occupied by many group reservations. Towards the back are private rooms, where customers up to forty people can be seated, used for corporate after- parties and meetings. Terrace seats are recommended for sunny days, while the courtyard seats are especially popular among customers to enjoy the street view with their beverages, often full during happy hour. “PABU” has capitalized on their good location and spaciousness to suit various consumer needs. Dining at “PABU” starts with beverages. A wide selection of wines along with Japanese sake list, shochu (distilled liquor), beer, to cocktails, the wide range of selections are overwhelm- ing.
