Welcome
This very prominent Calgary couple traveled the world. Especially fond of China; they made several trips to the Orient and re-turned with many precious artifacts including artworks, Ivory statuary, decorative items and furniture. The antiques must be seen to be appreciated. Exquisite jewelry (all gold and precious gems) a must see for anyone looking for something special. There are exquisite sterling silver items (no longer being made by Birks). Also included are some lovely artworks & interesting prints and so much more. This is definitely one of the largest sales we’ve conducted. Everyone attending the sale will be escorted to and from the suite. See you there, you’ll be glad you came.

DETAILS
FURNITURE
Mid 19th century, very ornate demi lune mirrored STAND. Three mirrored door panels with serpentine top apron with molded marble top. Very decorative acanthus leaf supports and trim (above mirrors). Interior is shelved and made of mahogany wood. Seldom have we seen such an ornate piece of furniture....excellent in entryway or...re-think using it in a (large) bedroom.
Marble topped WASHSTAND, central single door with cupboard either side (inset "basswood" marquetry decoration) delicate tapered legs ending in brass capped castors.
DINING ROOM SUITE...THESE ARE TRULY AMAZING PIECES OF FURNITURE Mid 19th century DINING TABLE; although we "show" it open to seat 4 people, easily extends to seat 10-12
people using two 18" leaves You increase the size by "cranking" it open. The hand carved and lathed turned legs are enormous and remarkable. They are channelled tapered and end in bronze supported castors. These tables are seldom seen anymore as they tend to stay in families for generations. Accompanying the table are 6 matching broad seated chairs with the same complimentary front legs. Upholstered in cobalt blue velour over web and spring construction.
SIDE SERVER, very ornate, hand planed back splash with applied very decorative, molded edge. Double drawer, double cupboard also with molded fronts. Single board top and back. Original keys and escutcheons. Two, left side, interior drawers (cutlery & linens)
Mid 19th century "LOO" style oval TABLE on four ornate hand carved splayed legs each ending in bulbous feet (important to note these tables were routinely cut down from 29" to 17 1/2" in order to server as the ultimate sofa table. We have the actual center piece to return the table to its original height. Condition is not perfect which is expected when one considers the age and the fact that it has been in continuous use by the family for generations (comes with oval cut glass top).
Mid 19th century double drawer WRITING DESK panelled in rosewood. Applied, reticulated trim, four petal shaped drawer pulls and tapered hexagon legs ending in "triple ring" feet The perfect entry way piece or repurpose to your life style. Totally hand carved ROOM DIVIDER originating in British India. Multiple panels showing birds, florals, elephants, lions, peacocks. Each panel measures 20" wide (6'8" and 6' 1" tall).
Pair of VICTORIAN PARLOR CHAIRS, molded bent knees with sphinx like feet, button and tufted back, large rolled arms with ornate hand rests. Neutral beige fabric over web and spring construction.
Matched pair of English mahogany wood TABLES, single drawer, cross stretcher base, delicate tapered legs, "basswood" mar-
