Who We AreEstablished in 1918, WSSC is currently among the largest water and wastewater utilities in the nation, with a network of nearly 5,794 miles of fresh water pipeline and over 5,600 miles of sewer pipeline. Our service area spans nearly 1,000 square miles in Prince George’s and Montgomery counties, and we serve 1.8 million residents through approximately 475,000 customer accounts. WSSC drinking water has always met or exceeded federal standards.
Oracle EBS History
WSSC Implemented Oracle EBS (GL, HR, Payroll and T&A) in 1997-98 & OTL and Employee SSHR implemented in 2011-12 ,additional modules (OAB, inventory, isupplier).Presently planning for 12.2 upgrade

For US Localization following information can be modeled to determine the impact on payroll numbers:

HR: Enable Payroll Simulation – Set to Yes
HR: Enable Multiple Assignments for Payroll Simulation – Set to Yes
Basic Setups
• Enable Payslip Modeler as Document Type in Self-service Preference at the Business Group and/or Organization Level
• Specify the Payroll Simulator Template at the Self service preference window at the Business group or Organization level.
• Specify locking period at the Payroll level to enable or disable Payslipmodeler.(during the payroll is under progress)
• Enable Elements and Input values to make them available for Payslip modeling in Element Extra information window.
