Rainbow
Rainbow was the second leg of our 3 ½ hour (each way) road trip.
Rainbow like many small rural centres experience difficulties with their internet
access and can’t wait for NBN. They want to revamp their website and look at improving
their Facebook presence.
Stawell
explore social media and put into place policies & procedures for using them in the organisation Using Blackboard
Collaborate
Blogs, Nings and Wikis
Haddon
Haddon has recently installed Moodle and they also want to update their website.
Warracknabeal
Our first road trip was Warracknabeal and Rainbow. At Warrack we explored a whole lot of possibilities from
simple things like an email program management issue to setting up Moodle and the ever present social media. We took the opportunity to show them Google apps,
Hootsuite and Dropbox
Trentham
Trentham has set up a wiki for their committee.
They also want to explore using free and open source tools to use
for teaching purposes.
