STUDENTS regardless of their age
eagerly look forward to the end-of-
year school holidays. All the stress ofhomework, school work and exams
simply drop away at the thought of a long
holiday away from school.
There are many activities that one can do
together with friends or family during the
holidays. Some prefer to balik kampung while
others prefer to go on holidays to enjoy the
many tourist attractions in the country.
All the wonderful experiences during the
holidays can then, be shared with friends and
classmates when they meet again at the
beginning of the new school term.

Highlands for a short holiday.We enjoy going to Gentings as we like the
weather there. It is cool and refreshing. There i

Najmi Aqil Abu Bakar, year four student of
Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Bukit Sentosa said he
always looked forward to the year-end school
holidays.
He said, This holidays, we decided to visit
the Sunway Lagoon Theme Park because we all
enjoy water sports and being outdoors.
Moreover, Sunway Lagoon is near my house.
Najmi added, I love to balik kampung and
visit my grandparents. They are old and look
forward to seeing us. Kampung life is fun as we
get to play outdoors all day! There is so much to
do in the kampung. Sometimes, it is not so fun
because everyone knows my grandfather and
they will inform him of our fun activities in the
river! My datukdoes not like us to play in the
river in case we drown or hurt ourselves.

Jenis Kebangsaan Cina (SJKC) Tampoi said,
Holidays are the best time of the school year.
We usually visit tourist spots in the country. I
really enjoy travelling and seeing people and
places.
This time we went to Malacca. I heard it was
a historic place and also a world heritage centre.
So, when I went there I was very happy. I also
