COURSE GUIDE 2017

By providing both personalized, interactive solutions and CEU credits, the Lighting Solutions Center staff empowers participants to tackle relevant lighting issues in a practical way.

In addition to four full time staff members, the Greenville, SC location is Hubbell Lighting’s global headquarters and home to a wealth of lighting talent across multiple disciplines. In fact, the Lighting Solutions Center regularly draws from over 200 lighting and technology authorities including highly sought-after speakers for national industry events such as Lightfair and the U.S. Department of Energy SSL Technology Forum.

Training center presenters hold certifications from the USGBC, NCQLP, IES, and CPTED among others. Our staff and presenters provide courses and solutions through the

Greenville, South Carolina based LSC, remote locations and on-line.

Never before has the lighting industry seen such a dramatic and compelling change in light source technology and the systems that drive them. The fast paced technical advances in LED solid state lighting and controls technology have created a significant need to educate users on the features, cost savings, code compliance and environmental benefits involved in this shift from less efficient traditional fluorescent, halogen

and HID light sources.

Hubbell Lighting provides cutting-edge lighting technology and solutions development in a market driven, solutions-focused environment. Content is often tailored to address specific, individual needs to provide an in-depth review of the key topics that are most relevant to the participants. Courses and solutions are offered through the Greenville based LSC, remote locations and on-line.

In addition to educational enrichment, the courses offered through the Lighting Solutions Center are an ideal opportunity for participants to earn continuing education credits toward a professional certification.

Continuing education credit is available for most courses. Many are AIA CES certified. Additional certifications continue to be added and will be posted online as they occur.

Continuing education credit can be issued to participants both electronically and in print, to be reported to individual organizations toward their respective credit measurement (CEU, LU, LEU, CLC, PDH).
