Stukulele and I have been discussing the viability of one extra ukulele class each week. This class will target the children who require extension and are highly motivated to practice ukulele in their own recreational time. This additional class will take place from 12.40 till 1.10pm each Friday. Children who wish to be considered for this extension class can see me.

Welcome back to Mrs Rowthorne! Her onesies were very excited to see her this morning. Big thank you to Mrs Craigie and Mrs White for doing a fantastic job in Lee’s absence. Mrs Rowthorne’s classroom was painted over the weekend and Mrs van Kempen’s class finally got their new roof.

Please support me in reminding the children about appropriate behaviour on the buses as we all want the children to be safe and ensure that the bus drivers are able to watch the road rather than be looking in their internal rear view mirror.

As part of the STEM unit on Habitat/Shelters, Kindergarten, Year 1 and Class 2/3 will be visiting Dorroughby Environmental centre tomorrow.

Good luck to the 24 students sitting the science component of ICAS this Thursday.

Final preparations are being made for our school Rainbow Cosmos Disco this Friday. Don’t forget to pre-purchase your tickets – see information attached.

Huge thank you once again to Susan and Sybil (Reggie’s mums) for whipping up another fantastic culinary delight last Friday.

Many thanks

Geoff

PS. Don’t forget to get onto a table for our annual Triv n’ Tunes on Friday 29th June.

PPS. Happy Birthday Kay!
