STAINLESS STEEL SILO CONSTRUCTION

Silo = 12

Area = 250 ft

Foundation Having 10 ft Dia filled with sand

Page 10: Construction and designing of feed mill

STAINLESS STEEL SILOS CONSTRUCTION

Height of silo 52 ft. with roof 70 ft Inner Diameter of silo 48 ft Distance between two silos is 5 ft Each silo is made up of 21 steel sheets

Page 11: Construction and designing of feed mill

STAINLESS STEEL SILOS CONSTRUCTION

Each steel sheet having length 2.5 ft Each having weight 133 tons. Weight of each silo is 2800 tons. Each sheet of silo having 100 to 120 tons storage capacity.

Page 12: Construction and designing of feed mill

STAINLESS STEEL SILOS CONSTRUCTION

Having capacity 2200 tons to 2500 tons. Each silo fitted with two fans which remove excessive heat from

silo. Two sensors are also fitted which indicate over limit of grains and

lower limit of grains

ADVANTAGE OF STAINLESS STEEL SILO

Portability Less maintenance Resistant to climatic variations Defect free Long working life Short construction period
