E- mailing plays a key part with 83% using their phone for this • The mobile is also key for their finances with over half using it got their banking and almost 1 in 4 using it as a payment device • Strong awareness and take up of new technologies with almost half aware of NFC and 1 in 5 currently utilising the new technology • They are also adopting 4G with almost half of non users likely to upgrade to a handset with 4G technology
