COMPACT- small on the outside,

big on the inside

The Compact motor extends our wide rangeof hydraulic motors which provide directhydraulic drive and most often eliminates theneed of a gearbox. The Compact motor has beendesigned to give outstanding power performancecompared to other motors in it´s class.

Like the Viking and the Marathon motors,the Compact is a radial piston type motor. It hasa rotating shaft and a stationary housing. But, asthe name suggests, the Compact is smaller withhigh power density and a wide speed range.

The Compact motor is designed for easyinstallation and a minimum of maintenance. It´scompact dimensions and low weight provides anextraordinarily high power to weight ratio. Thismeans great performance, leading to higher

productivity. The Compact can be adapted tomost customer needs and mounted in many ways.The hole through the motor centre can be veryuseful in certain applications.

The Compact is tough and insensitive to shockloads. It has got everything you can expect froma Hägglunds Drives´ motor - high starting torque,wide speed range, shock resistant, easy to installand easy to maintain. This motor comes with manyaccessories to improve application such as brakes,valves, torque arms, brackets, encoders etc.

The number of basic sizes in the Compactmotor series is five. Each size with a choiceof displacements and other options, includingtandem mounting and special designs for goodvolume business.
