•In addition, all the delegates agreed to form an“Indonesian Student Forum on Community
Developmet” lead by presidium from 7 universities
with each as regional coordinator.
• Complementing the Declaration of Bandung and
The Guideline of CD Activities, the conference also
enacted 14 activities which called “baby steps” as
tool in establishing the mentioned Forum above.
• The conference also enacted strategic plan in
mainstreaming CD movement in a form of 5 years
period target for the mentioned Forum above.

• 100% delegates which before the conference have not
enacted CD activity then already started in doing so.
• The 2nd national meeting of Indonesian Student Forum on
Community Development has been executed in August 2010.
• The West Java Provincial Government already gave support
for CD activities conducted by student through grant in
October 2010.
• Several best practices CD activities in the past conference
has been supported furthermore by the Indonesian Ministry
of Research and Technology and Indonesian Ministry of
Youth and Sports

• The Indonesian Student have agreed that the CD
movement will add a new form of movement.Despite change the older one (vertical movement),
both of them will be taken account in a proper way
with additional commitment for mainstreaming the
CD activities.
• The type of CD Movement is somewhat actions
needed by the development of Indonesia inbalancing the “top-down” development, with
additional benefit that may incorporate student in
the action.

• Youth is very prospective for the typical of CD activities, and
in the other way around the Indonesian student (youth) alsosee CD activities as somewhat need to be undertake
furhtermore in balancing their activities.

It was being known that 100% delegates see the sameperception and have already took actions in mainstreaming
CD actions at their own region.
•
Community development by the student movement has auniqueness, namely the students perform this movement
with idealism and a strong competence base. Thus, it make
them may conducted CD activity in various theme, such as
energy security, local economic development,
environmental, and so on.

• In maintaining the continuity of this CD movement by
Indonesian Student, the consistency of the Forum will berequired. Therefore the trans-generation issue need to be
improve soon.
• There is still a necessity to enact better systemic network
between government, university principal, and the student
in order for a better CD movement.
• CD movement by the student may broaden their activities by
collaborating with NGOs or with CSR activities.
• Allignment between CD activities, academic activities, and
extracuricullar activities is a prospect for better education
activities in general, yet there’s also a lot of challenge to be
overcome
