a)First you have to be a good listener

You should listen to the speaker talking and never ever interrupt him till he finishes his point.

Eye contact is very important while listening, It gives the speaker feeling of that you are interested in the topic.

Give the speaker your complete mental and physical attention by interacting with him by some words like: mmm ,I understand, I see, really!! .

You should looks very enthusiast and thrilled of what he says.

Motivate the speaker through your body language like:a)Nodding your head will encourage him to continue.b) but your hand under your chin will shows that you are very concentrated about what he saying. c) positions and movements that are similar to the speaker will enable the speaker to relax and open up more.

There is another way to motivate the speaker called (empowering questions).

emphasize part of the speaker talking will shows that you understand it and ask him about what you didn’t understand that will shows

your lack of grasping something. In the response process, the speaker should begin to move from a more emotional response to a more logical and constructive response.

• Reshape the speaker’s talking briefly to make sure that you understand his point on the right way.

• And last but not the least be very attentive about the words between the lines and the main Points and if you didn’t understand any of It ask about it .

Be organized and specific in exhibiting your thoughts and points.

Make sure that your words and expression is equal to the mental level of the listener.

Use vocal variety to grab the listener’s attention

Don’t talk about your self very much because every one needs to be appreciated so make the listener the hub of the talking .

Using eye contact will make listeners be attentive with you.

Non-verbal communication • Body language experts say that 65% of our daily

communication appears through non verbal form and the rest through verbal form.

•Non verbal communication is important to strength your first impression as people form their first impression about you within four seconds of contact.

• There are a lot of types shows non verbal communication like: facial expressions , gestures , paralinguistic , appearance

•Non verbal communication can have different meanings according to different cultures like:

“sticking out the tongue may be a form of mockery in the West, but in Polynesia it serves as a greeting and a sign of reverence”“making gesture with your hand describes admiration in west while it’s very offensive in Greece ““Pointing with one finger is also considered to be rude in some cultures and Asians typically use their entire hand to point to something”So be carful while you use your own gesture in a different cultures.

• He chooses the form of the message even

• He chooses the medium which the

message would be sent through even

voice mail , E mail , letter , etc.

• Encodes the message which means

translate the ideas into communicated

Receiver

• He receives the message .• Decodes the message ,it’s when the receiver interprets and understand the message .

• Receiver decides his attitude from the ideas and materials that came in the message

• He reacts and sent feed back to show that attitude .
