Terms And Conditions relating to Fees and Other Payments:

a) Fees once paid will not be refunded if the student leaves after admission and joining the course.

b) Cheques will not be accepted. Bank Demand Draft in the name of AMRI Hospitals, payable at Bhubane swar and Online payment through the payment gateway and NEFT transfers will only be accepted.

c) Hostel charges/ fees are subject to revision by AMRI College of Nursing from time to time during the duration of the course.

d) Students will be paid stipend at stipulated rates during Internship.

On completion of the 4 year B Sc Nursing programme ,the graduate nurses will be able to:-

1. Apply knowledge from physical ,biological & behavioral sciences in providing nursing care to individual ,families & communities.

2. Provide nursing care based on steps of nursing process in collaboration with the individual & group.

3. Demonstrate critical thinking skill in making decision to provide quality care.

4. Demonstrate understanding of life-style & other factors which affect the health of individual & utilize the latest trends & technology in providing health care.

5. Practice promotive, preventive & restorative health services within the frame work of code of ethics & professional conduct acceptable standard of practice within the legal boundaries.

6. Demonstrate leadership & managerial skill in clinical health setting & participate effectively as member of health care delivery system.

7. Conduct need based research studies & utilize the research finding to improve the quality of care.

Objectives

Candidates must :

1. Be of minimum 17 years of age as on 31st December of the respective applying year

2. Have passed 10 + 2 in Science or equivalent examination with science ( physics, chemistry & biology) from CHSC,Odisha / or any other board or council or university equivalent thereof.

3. a) Have passed in the subject of PCB & english individually and must have secured a minimum of 45 % of marks (only G C )taken together .

b) Candidates belonging to SC/ST, the mark secured in PCB taken together in qualifying examination be 40 %.

c) English is compulsory in 10 +2 for being eligible for admission to Basic B Sc. nursing.

Preparatory Leave: 7 days/ year during examination

Public Holidays : 3 weeks as per Government Of Odisha norms.

1 Library will remain open from 10.00 A.M TO 06.00 P.M on all working days.

2 Students should return his/her library books for verification whenever informed.

3 Only 2-3 books will be issued at a time for a period of 5 days after due date rupees 10 /day /book will be collected as late fine.

4 Students must observe total silence in the library and its surroundings at all times.

Library Rules & Regulation:

1. Self attested photocopy of 10th (HSC) or equivalent examination mark sheet & pass certificate.

2. Self attested photocopy of (10+2) science (PCB&E) mark sheet & pass certificate issued by CHSE Odisha or equivalent there of .

3. Self attested photocopy of conduct/ character certificate & original CLC from the head of the institution last attended.

4. Self attested photocopy of recent residential certificate from competent authority.

5. Self attested photocopy of caste certificate from the competent authority in case of SC/ST/ Green

Requirement of documents :

Clinical Training & Practical: Clinical training at AMRI Hospital, Bhubaneswar a Multi specialty hospital.Community health nursing practice at RHC - PHULESWARI BASTI & UHC - MENDHASALA ,DIST KHORDHA.

General Information:-1. All seats (85% government quota of private colleges) will be filled up from the central merit list.

2. 15% seats under management quota will be filled up on merit list & interview criteria by Selection committee members.

3. Both female & male candidates are eligible to apply ,10 % seats reserved for male candidate.

5 Students will keep their personal bag & books out side library on their own responsibility.

6 Use of mobile phones in library is strictly prohibited .

7 Books issue time 4-5 PM & returning time 5-6 PM on all working days.

8 Lost of books must be reported to librarian immediately & replaced or paid for within 10 days.

9 On Sunday & Govt holidays library will remain closed.

1 Candidate got admitted should abide by the rules and regulations of the college ,hostel and concerned University.

2 Those found disobeying the rules and regulations shall be debarred from the hostel and college.

3 Ragging in all forms in the nursing institution is strictly prohibited by the order of supreme court. The institution will take immediate appropriate action in this matter.

4 The students are required to attend the classes in prescribed time table & in uniform.

5 The students are required to attend the lectures,tutorials,clinical duty & field duty regularly.

6 (a) A student has to attend at least 80% theory classes & 100% practical classes be eligible to appear in the internal examination & also university examination.

(b) Attendance in all classes (Lecturers,Tutorials,Laboratories,Clinical etc.) is compulsory. A student may be debarred from appearing all examination including university examination on the ground of shortage of attendance.

7 The students & guardian will be informed through a letter before he/she is debarred for appearing university examination due to shortage of attendance before examination.

8 College will not take any risk & responsibility for any problems arisen for the students residing outside the hostel.

9 The student may take his/her C.L.C. to get admission in other colleges at any time during amid year provided he/she deposits the fees for the remaining years otherwise no C.L.C.will be issued.

10 Students are not allowed to paste any notice within the institution without prior written permission from the principal.

11 Taking active part in politics will result is being expelled from the institution.

12 Coming for hospital duty or entering the institute premises in an un-presentable appearance will be liable to punishment.

13 Membership in the recognised SNA is compulsory.

14 Students will arrive on time to the institution & refrain from leaving early unless prior permission has been granted.

15 Students are not allowed to come directly in the principal’s office. If the students have any problems, they should inform the class coordinator.Then the class co-ordinator will present it to the principal.

16 A student is not allowed to receive gifts or gratuity of any sort at any times from the patients or their relatives.

17 Students must participates in all college activities like clinical meetings, conferences, guest lecturers, seminars as well as sports, cultural activities etc.

18 If any student is found consuming liquor or narcotics during hospital duty or in the institute’s premises, he/she will be suspended from the institute for a specific period or be expelled from the institutions as deemed fit.

19 Possession of weapons and other objectionable items/ material in the institute or hostel will lead to expulsion from the institution.

20. Students are required to carry their identity cards during college hours , clinical posting & whenever they are going out .The ID card must be produced whenever it is asked by the concern authority.

RULES & REGULATIONS FOR AMRI COLLEGE OF NURSING

1 The institution will not be held liable directly or indirectly , for the loss of personal properties due to theft or any other cause.

2 Students should bring own lock & key for their rooms .

3 The use of equipments such as electric heaters,music system, electrical cattle, iron boxes etc. are prohibited inside the hostel rooms.

4 Turn off lights, fans &water tapes when not in use.

5 All students are responsible for cleanness of their rooms.

6 Deposit all waste & rubbies in the waste bin provided.

7 Discarded rags, papers must not be thrown in the rooms, terrace or premises.

8 Boys are not allowed to enter at the girl’s hostel.

9 Students are not allowed to arrange any group religious activities in their rooms.

10 Students who wish to stay back in the hostel on working days for whatever reason , need to take prior permission from the warden.

11 During regular working days , students have to report back to the hostel by 06.00 pm.

12 Hostel Warden will take attendance at 07.00 pm to ensure that the students have reached in the hostel.

14 Proxy attendance is not allowed, all students must have to report for roll call attendance.

14 Students shall take prior permission from the warden to go to places other than campus & inform to the warden for their arrival as soon as they reach the hostel .

15 On holiday or Sunday students need to take an outpass signed by the warden stating the purpose, time of departure & expected arrival time.

16 Students are not permitted to own any motor vehicles on campus . They may use bicycles but the safety & storage of bicycles is the owner’s responsibilities .

17 Students shall treat the hostel & mess staffs respectfully. They should not demand any special service from them.

18 Students should not be loitering in the verandas.

19 Cooking of any kind in the room is strictly prohibited.

20 Students shall have their food in the dining hall only.
