A method for generating electricity from solar power to the led light with the help of solar panels.

The solar panel will generate electrical power that will provide sufficient power to run the led light.

Single phase inverter is used to convert DC power to AC power.

Solar panel collects the solar energy from

sun light. It is variable DC power.

This variable Dc is converted to fixed DC

through a DC to DC converter.

This DC is converted into AC by the help

of an inverter.

This AC power is given to the LED light

for its operations.

DC-DC power converter.

With the output higher then the input.

Works on the basic principle of inductor to

resist the charge in the current.

Filters are used to reduce the ripples in the

output.

In the open loop boost converter, the output varies

with the variation in the input to the converter .

The input to the boost converter varies since it is

from the PV module.

The output from the PV depends on the sun rays.

Hence it is not a constant.

The output from the boost converter is

maintained as a constant.

The output from the boost converter is taken

as a feedback and the same is compared

with the reference value.

In this project the reference voltage is

maintained as 230v.

Micro controller is a compact microcomputer

designed to govern the operation of embedded

systems in motor vehicles, robots, office

machines, home appliances, etc.

A typical micro controller includes a processor,

memory and peripherals.

Step-up transformer is a device that transfers

an alternating current from one circuit to

another circuit with an increase of voltage.

In the step-up transformer total no of turns in

the primary side is greater than the secondary

side.

In this 48 volt is converted into 220 volts.

Battery is an electrochemical cell that can be

charged electrically to provide a static potential

for power or released electrical charge when

needed.

Lead acid battery is used for this operation.

We are using 4 numbers of 6 volt batteries

connected in series for the operation.
