This is the material we'll need to work in the Art class

1. Cardboard folder DIN-A4

It's very important to write your name and last name on it!

Write the name of your class too!

You may use a "recycled" folder from last year!

2. Sketch book DIN-A4 (21x29'7cms)

The sketch book must contain paper sheets weighting 130 grs. with a box inside.

3. Graphite pencils

● a pencil 4/2H for technical design.● a pencil 2/HB for artistical drawing.

6. Coloured pencils

This year we wont use wax crayons (plastidecor) anymore !

Coloured pencils allow us to make better and colour progressions.

It is enough to have a 12 unit box or a mixture of assorted pencils from other years.

7.Coloured felt tip pens

It is important to use medium size tip (not the thin ones).

We wont use markers or fluorescent markers either.

We recommend you to have a minimum of 12 markers of different colours.

8.Rulers

A pair of set square and a 30 cms long ruler

From 2nd Term!!

9. A compass

A compass allow us to draw circunferences and also helps us to transport different measures.

It is very important to take care of technical instruments, you must carry your compass in its case.

It is important to have a compass with pencil adapter.

You may use the compass you have from previous years if it works correctly.

11.Gouache coloursFrom desember!!In Art class we´ll study the

primary and secondary colours and how them are distributed in the color wheel.

You will know how to create all sort of colours just from the primary ones!

The colours you will need are; white, yellow, magenta, cyan and black.

It is very interesting to get three different brushes; a thin one, a medium and a thick one.

11. Scissors and glue stick

You may need them atany day or any time, so you have to bring them always in your pencil box!
