Dear Parents, Jolly days are holidays! Its the time we are
looking forward to lazy mornings, no lunch to school and gathering
with friends. At the same time its the time of the year when you
get an opportunity to spend maximum time with your child. To beat
the summer heat and make these days fun filled the following
activities have been planned to enhance your childs creativity.
1. Fun time is reading time Introduce your child to picture
books, storybooks, and encourage them to converse in English.
Reading develops their vocabulary and communication skills .
Recommended Books: Bubbles, Bruno, Noddy, Pepper
2. To enhance the fine motor skills of your child, lets engage
them in the following activities:
Free hand drawing Coloring within an enclosed area Hand/Fist
printing Making objects of their choice with play dough (e.g.
fruits, vegetables,
shapes) Sequencing of colored Cadbury gems, shapes, blocks Paper
tearing and pasting
3. We suggest you may take your child to the following places:

can make yours go vertical or horizontal- its up to you, but make
sure that it fit in your binder.
2. On red colour have the alphabets written; On yellow have the
associates pasted (The picture could be drawn or cut & pasted);
On blue have another picture associated with the alphabet
3. Make a front cover with a title (Alphabet Flip book and
decorate it beautifully) 4. Write your name on the back, three hole
punches and put in the front of your
binder as shown below. 5. Create and secure with the spiral
binding
6. Neatness counts! Flip books that appear to be falling apart
