1½ dl syrup1½ dl milk200 g sugar1 tsp ground clove 1 tsp ground cinnamon1 tsp ground ginger½ tsp ground cardamon100 g butter (with salt)1 tbsp bakingsoda500 g wheat flour

• Put a small saucepan on a low heat, add the syrup, sugar, milk and spices.

• Combine with a spoon. Keep stirring until the mixture boils.

• Take the pan off the heat and add the butter, let it melt in.

• Stir in the flour and baking powder.

• Let it cool down in refrigerator.

• Preheat your oven to 200°C.

• Dust work surface and rolling pin with flour

and roll the dough out to about 4 mm thick, use moulds.

• Bake in the oven until cookies are golden brown.• Decorate: 1 egg white mixed with 250 g icing sugar .
