Hopefully all of you had much deserved break and are back at work with renewed energy and enthusiasm. I wish that 2017 be year of great opportunities, learning and growth for all of us. We at Calgary section are back and planning many exciting events for our membership. In November, after a long time, we brought a soft skill topic with an excellent presenter for our members. Our last dinner meeting was on the topic of “ Leading multicultural teams for Competitive Advantage” presented by Dr. Lionel Laroche. The presentation was greatly appreciated by one and all. Our next dinner meeting will be on January 25th presented by Matthew Schoenhardt. He will be talking about “Parametric Contingency Estimating on Small Projects”. Matthew was ranked #1 speaker and #7 paper over all in AACEI Annual conference in 2016 at Toronto. It is going to be an exciting presentation, so please register at the earliest.
