CEO of a Global organization providing Technology & Business Transformation services. As a part of the board of directors, Chinar efficiently handled the responsibility of setting up and expanding business across US, Europe & India geographies.

Under his leadership, company has built innovative products in Retail, Healthcare & Biometrics verticals. The retail industry product "Spectrum" is already running across 4 countries in Europe. Spectrum has been successfully launched in the US at NRF 2011 as well as at IRF in India.

Chinar has built a state of the art Global Delivery Center in India and a robust on-shore/off-shore model to cater to any challenging technology work. Currently his unit supports multiple international customers. Chinar has been instrumental in building a strong collaboration with high profile management and technology institutes in order to attract and retain niche talent.

Worked as the Head of Information Technology for the entire Group. Future Group has multiple lines of businesses including retail (all formats), property management, textile & apparel manufacturing, home solutions, communications product business, venture funds etc...

As a Group CIO I was responsible for developing and implementing long term IT strategy for all the businesses. Successfully managed IT Infrastructure and Enterprise Application Setup of entire Future Group (formerly known as Pantaloon) with following scope:

Group Head Office in Mumbai with team of 87 people engaged in strategic initiatives that are managed centrally.

350+ Business Operations Sites (Including stores of all retails formats such as Big Bazaar, Pantaloon, Food Bazaar, CENTRAL, Fashion Station, aLL, Depot, Mela, eZone, Collection-I, m-Bazaar, Health Village, Home Town etc…, all warehouses, zonal offices, factory outlets, corporate offices of all group companies & manufacturing units)

Spearheaded the successful implementation of SAP IS retail across all formats Launched e-Commerce initiative Transformed PoS and Customer Loyalty Program solutions to work on cutting edge

technology platform and fully integrated with SAP Deployed online, real-time management dashboards to the executive committee

Worked as the Head of Information Technology for the entire Group. Dodsal had 3 lines of businesses (EPC, Restaurant, and Infrastructure). With operations in over 5 countries in India, Middle East and Europe. As a CIO, was responsible for developing and implementing long term IT strategy for all the businesses. Spearheaded the complete business process re-engineering program with Accenture, followed by SAP implementation.

Skillfully managed IT Infrastructure and Business Application Setup of entire Dodsal Group with following scope:

3 Corporate offices in Mumbai & Dubai (with a Team of 17 Professionals)

Senior Manager - IT, Hindustan Unilever Ltd., 1997 – 2001

Managed company-wide ERP solution called Mfg-Pro, which encompasses HLL’s, entire supply chain. Responsible for group financials and central consolidation of financial result. Also implemented various cost allocation tools and evaluated e-B (web version of Mfg-Pro)

Implemented PeopleSoft HRMS encompassing four main HR function of HLL namely Management Resource Planning, Remuneration, Recruitment and Training. Successfully completed migration to PeopleSoft version 7.5.

Due to his success in the project and the experience gained, had been chosen as Key Team Member of Project Garuda (Worldwide PeopleSoft implementation for Unilever). Responsible for designing Common Core Data Architecture for Unilever and setup central Data Consolidation Unit in Rotterdam. Also instrumental in setting up PeopleSoft Excellence Center in Unilever, US (Lipton House, New Jersey)

Developed Web-based query system (with HLTML/ASP) on top for “Shares Management System” to provide top of the line Investor Services at all metros.

Successfully implemented Citrix Solution for remote connectivity and thin-client computing.

Successfully managed Y2K compliance projects for over 64 small and large-scale systems at HLL.

Managed the Brooke Bond Lipton India Limited merger with HLL with regards to Shareholders’ database and exchange of share certificates. Provided complete IT-support for AGM ’98.

Implemented a security system for Shares Department with the help of TATA Honeywell. Security system consists of swipe card access points, strong room, fire detection mechanism and a Central Operating Station, which gives a 3D view of the facility and indicates the problem location on the screen immediately.
