Originally from the UK, he inherited his father’s interest in wine and started his wine education over 20 years ago when asked to deputise for the sommelier while working at a 2 AA Rosette restaurant in Cheshire, UK. Keen to learn more, he undertook WSET training from the age of 19, reaching Advanced Level and is now studying to be a Certified Specialist in Wine.
