Wider benefits of a Chevening

Scholarship

Chevening creates networking opportunities, and nurtures a

deeper understanding of UK culture:

• A tailored programme of events (a ‘Topical Talks’ series, a

range of formal social events, and opportunities for Scholars to

organise their own events).

• Engagement from the FCO while Scholars are in the UK.

• Opportunities for leadership within the Chevening community

(through the ‘Chevening Ambassador’ scheme).

• Lasting benefits of joining Chevening’s global alumni network.
