2. “Garden PartyBy Amy Real“Garden Party was inspired by Amy’s fun
outside gatherings of friends and family

about him being booed off the stage at
Madison Square Garden when he appeared
in his new image with ‘long hair and bell
bottoms.’”

Harwood's. While decorating the buoy, she thought of
George Boyce, Sr, and Leroy Weed, two Stonington
lobstermen and others. She respects their response to
the call of the sea and how hard the fishermen have to
work, under the best and worst of circumstances.”
6. “A Mariners Tail”By Philip Anderson“Phil is a native of Massachusetts who lives in Virginia
and has spent his entire career serving his country as a
U.S. Marine and more recently supporting the

and live full-time in his house in Stonington.”

winter storms this past year! She enjoyed the
project very much and hopes you enjoy her fish!”
11. “Fishermen's Dogs”By Betty Heanssler“One thing Betty has noticed about fishermen is their
relationship with their pets, namely their dogs. Some go on
the boats with their owners, but some have to stay at home
and wait. Such is the case with Sophie, Betty’s wire fox
terrier. She would ride on and in anything that moved, but if
she had to wait she did it with patience, day after day. Here's
to the dogs that love their fishermen, and wait for them.”
12. “Belle”By Karen Meisenheimer

topcoat. Buoy may be sunlight-sensitive.”

Stonington and lupines.

guaranteed to evoke a smile even from the most
confirmed sour-puss.”
Page 8
19. “Lupine Garden”By Sandi Cirillo“This buoy was inspired by the many, many lupines

in creating this one-of-a-kind art piece. The wind
chime has been waterproofed to withstand outdoor
summer weather.”
