Chartwells Petition As members of the Quinnipiac Community we call for university administration to divulge the contractual agreement between Chartwells food services and Quinnipiac University. As you are probably aware, meal plans are required for students living on campus as contracted through Chartwells. The prices are built into room and board and there is no option to select a lesser amount as dictated by the agreement between Quinnipiac and Chartwells. Although the dining dollars roll over to the spring semester from the fall semester, at the end of the spring semester any dollars that remain are not refunded. We see that many of these limitations are dictated by the contractual agreement between the university and Chartwells. We understand that as a private institution, Quinnipiac has no obligation to divulge confidential information. However, we believe administration should, at least, disclose the contractual agreement with Chartwells because students have a right to know what they are paying for and why they are paying for it. ,.'yi /— 4^ _ ^4-VVWA/ U;\J ^W / -fv^ s WMA/I L . +W 1 / /- « A S-t *1/ !\ r n C / > I 1^1 d fS\ — FraSh pmM Pin/Anna P[jp\(nfjQ f.j l] . fli U Frfjh ma "OCA yOa Oc ^ drKlr:r\ c\c\scCi\V C; ^ (j. h~ r c,h pr\ Oi P\ z^//' -hyl-elLuf uw>/ r) <?u- rJA P i 2^ ^ cNaAA/)><^\- (' ClA/tjMs- Je^nvQ Cf¥)& '.c [( Pf\H i PtfSleuYVja^ "P'krP \ra ra ^ Cav pdu fr^ShmoA ;7Ltv\wjA'uu\KW f-j rO/Hh T/v/// rtdtCdlh .eSo -fY ^ i\(acYT"Rv i r {itiytpi ni' \ex3n<,CJniQr*r>i'nt tl)QijTpAu Yrf^f^hrvr) l\PAr{f/) /fawn , a Jm Jrfrjhmfitn ' 1 %/¥ V*i Vs)fVv>s T, SPr (htt U 0 V7lV ? Chartwells Petition
As members of the Quinnipiac community we call for university administration to divulge thecontractual agreement between Chartwells food services and Quinnipiac University. As you areprobably aware, meal plans are required for students living on campus as contracted throughChartwells. The prices are built into room and board and there is no option to select a lesseramount as dictated by the agreement between Quinnipiac and Chartwells.
Although the dining dollars roll over to the spring semester from the fall semester, at the end ofthe spring semester any dollars that remain are not refunded. We see that many of theselimitations are dictated by the contractual agreement between the university and Chartwells. Weunderstand that as a private institution, Quinnipiac has no obligation to divulge confidentialinformation. However, we believe administration should, at least, disclose the contractualagreement with Chartwells because students have a right to know what they are paying for and
why they are paying for it.
