Avià, a small town

• Avià is a small town near Berga, it isn't very popular, but it have got some interesting things, such as buildings, people, manners...

THE WORK IN AVIÀ

• In Avià there aren't many industries, but there are farms and a lot of huge fields.

Buildings and monuments

• The most important, Avià have got a lot of monuments, buildings, such as Santa Maria d'Avià, and popular festivals, for example Festa del segar i el batre, or Caramelles.

Santa Maria d'Avià

• Santa Maria d'Avià is a romanic church, in the church, there was an important altarpiece of Jesus, which is one of the most important monuments in Catalonia.

Caramelles

• It consist about all the people sing a tradicional song, and all the people give money, then we make with this money omelettes and all the people eat it.

• We celebrate it on Easter.

Marc Coma

• The most important person in Avià is, Marc Coma. one of the best riders motorbike in the world.
