Water Supply
► Water supply for industrial
purposes in the district can be
obtained from two main sources,
viz. Gujarat Water Supply and
Sewerage Board (GWSSB) and
Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nigam
Ltd.
Gas Supply
► Two operational Common Effluent
Treatment Plants (CETPs) are in
Central region in Vadodara District
Logistics
► Container Corporation of India
Ltd. (CONCOR) is having its
Container Freight Stations in
Channi, Vadodara District and
Railway Container Terminal.
Traffic handled in 2013-14 is
around 2906 TEUs.

► The gas pipeline network is being
operated by more than one player
viz. GAIL (India) Limited, Gujarat
State Petronet Limited (GSPL) and
Gujarat Gas Company Limited
(GGCL).

length is 113 km, 151.68 km and
36.89 km respectively.

Vadodara MSME facilitation desk is setup to provide handholding support, finical
guidance, assist in setting up of enterprise and knowledge support to Micro Small and
Medium Enterprises of central region of Gujarat. The investors of central region may
avail policy & incentive related guidance, gather knowledge on specific sector and its
associated support from MSME facilitation desk. The desk is located at Vadodara
District Industry Centre (DIC).
