• Download app from the app store (free of charge)

• Choose the “sign up with email” option to sign up for a free account

To sign up the cell creator will have to set up a profile. This will require them to:

• Create a username• Enter their full

name• Create a password• Enter a valid email

address

After setting up a profile, the cell creator will be instructed to verify the profile’s email address. They will have to access their email and click “verify my account.”

To start a new cell, click one of the two “add” icons.

First, the cell creator needs to set the new cell’s basic info. This includes creating a unique cell name, establishing a conversation type, and setting security options.

Conversation Type:

• Curated Chats allow for the curator to send messages, and other members can reply with the curator’s approval

• Open Chats allow everyone to send messages at any time

• Alert Only cells allow only the cell creator to send messages without reply

Security Options

• For a classroom, the best option is to require a password, which the teacher can set and then share with students

After setting the cell’s basic info, the cell creator can establish any optional details necessary to the cell’s particular use.

After setting the cell’s parameters and adding collaborators, the cell creator can post in the cell in a simple text message format.
