RCIA CLASSES RCIA Classes will resume on September 5th at 6pm in the Cathedral Office at the Portier House. Bibles Needed: Do you have underused bibles in your house that can be put to good use? Ministries such as Maritime and Prison Ministries can give new life to your gently used bibles. Any type of bible is acceptable but especially those old paperback bibles used by your children while in school. Seafarers and those in prison both have time to read but often lack access to the written word. If you have bibles that you would like to donate please leave them in the box in the back of the Cathedral or see Deacon Archer. Fellowship Friday’s During Lent: On Friday Evenings during Lent, after the Stations are celebrat-ed in the Cathedral, you are invited to the Portier House for a meatless (simple and frugal) meal with water and tea. Also, a presentation on Lent will be offered, with the remaining time for conversation and questions. Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women: The Mobile Deanery of ACCW will sponsor a Lenten Day of Reflection on Wednesday, March 14th at the Visitation Monas-tery, 2300 Springhill Ave. Registration will be from 9am to 9:30am. Our guest speaker will be Father Cecil Spotswood. The theme is “Our Lady of Victory”. A light lunch will be pro-vided. Admission is free.
