- 1 - Catacomb of Nunziatella This small catacomb was excavated in connection with the rural settlement above it. The entrance to the catacomb is accessible via a staircase that leads to a cubicle and to a narrow cemetery area, which was probably initially independent to the rest of the catacomb. The cubicle, intended for the use of a small family, preserves a pictorial decoration with scenes inspired from the Old and New Testament, thus allowing us to date it to the beginning of the fourth century.
