A 63-year-old man was on vacation in Paris, France. While having dinner at the Le Grand Véfour, he started complaining of epigastric pain that radiated down his left arm. He told his wife that he felt like he was having severe indigestion caused by the rich food. According to his wife, Isabella, he stood up to go to the restroom and collapsed on the floor. EMS was called and the patient and his wife were taken to the American Hospital of Paris. The patient was admitted to Room 405B (Step-Down unit) for Chest Pain R/O MI on 12/05/2014.

While in the hospital, patient had an angioplasty with two stents. He also developed RML pneumonia and was treated with intravenous antibiotics. The admitting physician wrote a fit-to-fly order on 12/12/2014 and you have been assigned to escort the patient back to a hospital located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This escort will require a bedside-to-bedside transfer.
