Carruth Studio started out with one of a kind hand carved stones only. I would sculpt and my wife Deb took care of the marketing. Today the hand carved stones are for larger commissions while original Carruth designs are now hand cast in stone at our studio in Waterville Ohio.

The transition to smaller cast stone designs provided many new opportunities. For instance, images were now light enough to hang on a wall or small enough to sit on a windowsill. As a result, the Veggie Series characters are used as accents in the kitchen, as well as the garden. Our nativity and Christmas images find homes on fireplace hearths and as table accents. Designs are purchased as gifts for weddings, birthdays, retirement, anniversaries,corporate gifts, even bereavement gifts. Letters frequently arrive with photographs of Carruth sculptures displayed in clever or unusual settings. We also receive notes telling of how a sculpture was used as the ‘’perfect gift’’ for a meaningful occasion.

Each design is gift boxed, made by hand using quality weather resistant materials and shipped from our Waterville studio. Original Carruth designs have been collected and given as gifts for 25 years, so everyone at Carruth Studio says ‘’ Thank You’’ to our loyal friends and supporters. It has been a privilege sculpting whimsical, traditional and meaningful gifts for each of you.
