1936-First freely programmable computer. 1942-Who was first in the computing biz is not

always as easy as ABC. 1944-The Harvard mark 1 computer. 1946-20,000 vacuum tubes later… 1948-baby and the Williams tube turn on the

memories. 1954-The first successful high level programming

language. 1962- The first computer game invented. 1964-Nickname for the mouse ( cuz the tail comes

out the end) 1969-The original internet 1983- The first home computer 1985-Microsoft begins the friendly war with Apple.

In 1952, A.S. Douglas wrote his PhD degree at the University of Cambridge on Human-Computer interraction. Douglas created the first graphical computer game - a version of Tic-Tac-Toe. The game was programmed on a EDSAC vaccuum-tube computer, which had a cathode ray tube display.

Today, in the whole world Konrad Zuse almost is unanimosly accepted as the creator / inventor of the first free programmable computer with a binary floating point and switching system, which really worked. This machine – called Z3 was completed in his small workshop in Berlin in 1941. First thoughts konrad Zuse’s about the logical and technical principles are going back to 1934.
