It is because of this understanding that in early 2017 PT Ungaran Sari Garments through its “One Employee, One Tree – The Next 12000 Trees” program worked with vocational schools (in Indonesian language means Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan or SMK) in Central Java and Semarang University to help develop love and care towards the environment by planting trees in schools. PT Ungaran Sari Garments provided 705 seedlings to SMKN 1 Pringapus, SMK 1 Jambu, SMK Widya Praja Ungaran, SMK Muhammadiyah Suruh and Semarang University which were planted at the school environment together with the students. One Employee One Tree Goes to Schools
PT Ungaran Sari Garments understands that love for the environment should be fostered early. It is because of this
understanding that in early 2017 PT Ungaran Sari Garments through its “One Employee, One Tree – The Next 12000

Award of Appreciation Letters & Art Performance
On 14 January 2017, PT Ungaran Sari Garments – Pringapus unit conducted Award of Appreciation Letters to honor
employees with outstanding contribution, which was followed by an Art Performance. There were 80 employees awarded
for meritorious service, innovation or great dedication to their work. It is hoped that this event may motivate our employees
to continuously improve their career. After the appreciation letters were awarded by management representatives to the
employees, the event continued with performance of traditional dances, group musical performance and drama from the
local theatre, Usman Ismail.
Futsal Tournament – USG Cup
In order to maintain fitness and stamina, PT Ungaran Sari
Garments fully supports positive employee activities. One
form of the support is by conducting a yearly futsal
tournament is the fourth time the event has been held. This
year nine teams participated in the tournament and the
trophy went to Store Fabric team.

Training on Cervical Cancer
The World Health Organization study showed a lack of
cancer screening measures in Indonesia. The number of
women with cervical cancer in Indonesia has now reached
at least 21,000 cases. On the months January and
February 2017, PT Ungaran Sari Garments in cooperation
with Yayasan Insan Indonesia Sehat (or ‘The Foundation of
Healthy Indonesians’ in Indonesian language) conducted
training on cervical cancer at units Ungaran, Congol and
Pringapus. It is hoped that with this training, our employees
(whom are 90% women) may be more aware and more
capable to protect their reproductive health.
Training for Integrated Service
Post Cadres
As part of the Community Children Care initiative,
PT Ungaran Sari Garments and Yayasan Balita
Sehat (or Healthy Baby Foundation in Indonesian
language) conducted training for Posyandu (Pos
Pelayanan Terpadu is ‘Integrated Service Post’ in
Indonesian language) cadres at Bergas District
area. Training was conducted on March 14 and
March 15, 2017 and 50 Posyandu cadres
participated.
It is our hope that this training may help Posyandu
cadres to provide better and more professional
service which in turn will help to improve the health
of babies and toddlers in the Kecamatan Bergas
are.
Blood Donation
As a routine agenda for PT Ungaran Sari Garments, on March 2017
we again conducted blood donation drive at units Ungaran, Congol
and Pringapus. In total 944 of our employees donated their blood
