Location Bulgaria is a country in the

south-east of Europe, with a territory of 110,994 square kilometres.

Our neighboursBulgaria borders by Romania to the north,  Serbia and Macedonia to the west, Greece and Turkey to the south and the Black Sea to the east.

Population The population is small. Only seven

million people live in Bulgaria.

Flag and anthem Our flag is coloured with white, green and

red. The anthem is called “Mila Rodino”, which means “Dear Homeland”.

Our Capital Our capital is called Sofia. It’s the

largest city in Bulgaria with population of around 1,2 million people.

My CityMy City is called Varna. It’s the largest

city in the Black Sea Coast and the third-largest city in Bulgaria. It’s with

population of 334,870  people.
