In this digital age, I believe that books must evolve into a web of knowledge much like web sites, cross-linked to each other and shareable by their URLs. With this evolution, the content itself becomes the marketing channel to expose what it refers to so that most referred content may be read as frequently.
Fortunately, all necessary technology is out there - cloud servers, HTML5, CSS3, dynamic URL, rich client-side programming environment and ever-advancing web browsers to make content more like software than merely a collection of black & white symbols.
