Overview This is a Level 2 “Oral Skills for Interview” Award, accredited by English Speaking Board (ESB) with an emphasis on spoken English and employability. It is a challenging programme that will build confidence in English, encourage students to consider their futures and provide them with techniques and skills to enhance both their personal and professional lives. Morning sessions are 9.30am to 1pm and are spent with our fantastic tutors, speaking English and having fun. We use innovative techniques and teaching styles to encourage confident communication. Afternoon sessions are from 2pm and will be a mixture of cultural visits, social interaction and a visit to a local higher education institute. A Certificate of Achievement certified by English Speaking Board is awarded to every participant based on exam score. Session 9 Exam PreparationEnglish Speaking Board Oral Skills for Interviews Level 2 Award

Preparation and practise of all skills learned throughout the two weeks.

Session 10 Oral Assessment with External Examiner from International Awarding Body ESBParticipants will deliver a presentation in a group setting and be assessed in 4 key areas:

■ Presentation skills ■ Telephone skills

■ 1:1 interview skills ■ Discussion

Key skills assessed are: ■ Style and structure of presentation ■ Clarity ■ Tone of voice

■ Body language ■ Question and answer technique ■ Ability to share knowledge with enthusiasm
