March, 2019 Dear Parents and Guardians, Thank you so much for coming to parent teacher conferences… even when many had to be rescheduled due to the snow days! These types of face-to-face communications are an integral part of educating children and we appreciate your support. It’s hard to believe we are in our final trimester of school—students and staff continue working hard to achieve their expected levels of learning. Don’t forget to get your tickets to our musical, “Alice in Wonderland.” I’ve been able to observe the hard work that students, staff and parents are putting in to make this the best… and it will be! Tickets will be available at the door as well (see info below). Have a wonderful spring break (March 8-15) with your family and friends. Jenny Wielinski, Principal P.S. Parents, OH State Testing for grades 3 through 6 will be administered April 8th—22nd. Please try to avoid scheduling family trips or appointments during this time. Thank you. Parents, when dropping off your child in the morning, please do not leave until your child is safely on the sidewalk. We’ve had close calls with little toes! Also, please have the child exit on the passenger side of the car. Other cars may attempt to pull around your car as your child is exit- ing—we want our students to arrive safely to school. Thank you! Label those coats and jackets! Parents, when the weather gets warmer, students take their coats and jackets off at re- cess and forget them on the play- ground. We do our best to display these lost items in our Lost and Found, but it would be very helpful if you would put your child’s name inside his/her jacket or coat. Thanks for your help!
