The Student Council represented our school at this annual event, with each council member inviting a friend to attend with them. The students’ behaviour, enthusiasm and involvement were exceptional and I would like to thank these students for being such wonderful ambassadors for our school in the Goulburn community. We will be having a few staff changes next year. Miss Jordan Huntley will be teaching at Goulburn North next year and Mrs Annette Pattison will be returning from her year full of adventure and excitement, travelling overseas. Jordan, thank you for being such a special teacher for 2/3H and we wish you all the best in the years ahead. Congratulations and thank you to our 2018 student leaders – Ella, Jhett, Connor and Nash. They were recognised last week at a Mayoral Reception for their school leadership this year. The last official duty of these students will be to compere our Presentation Evening on Monday, 17 December. We have started the process of electing our school leaders for 2019. In advance, I would like to thank the Year 5 students who have nominated for these positions, knowing that each of them would be excellent leaders. This will be the last newsletter for 2018 and I would like to wish our students and families a wonderful Christmas. I wish our Year 6 students all the very best for their move to high school in 2019 and I look forward to getting to know our new Kindergarten students joining us next year. To the staff, I thank you for your support, professionalism, commitment and passion for the work you do every day. To our families, thank you for your partnership with us as we work towards providing your children with an enriching and supportive start to becoming lifelong learners.
