Why is this important Mr. Rodriguez?

Every aspect of broadcasting is essential. If we, as an audience, do not understand what we are looking at on the screen, then why should we care?

That is why it is important for the anchor, the director, the cameraman/woman, the editor, etc. to truly care about what is being presented to an audience.

Ice Breaker #2 (Level 1)

2 truths and 1 lie!• The key to Broadcasting is to analyze and to sell your audience

on what you are communicating. • In this activity, you have to fool your classmates into thinking

that you are stating three facts about yourself, even though—in fact—you are stating one lie.

Page 31: Broadcasting Levels 1-3 Mr. Rodriguez Or Mr. R. Tell me about yourself. What is your name? What do you hope to gain from this class? What is your favorite.

Yarn Activity! (Level 3)

-Answer each question as assertively as you possibly can. -Each individual question requires you to think outside the box, so

“improvisation” is an essential component.
