1.- MISSION BTESA (BROAD TELECOM S.A.) Spanish high-tech company fully committed to serve the

broadcasting and telecommunications markets, designs and manufactures professional

equipment for both TV program production centers and transmitter stations.

Founded by a prestigious alliance of over 25 telecommunication engineers specialized in the

area of broadcasting as well as satellite and terrestrial telecommunications, BTESA today

enjoys an experience of over 35 years in the design and deployment of broadcasting systems

and audio video infrastructures.

Together with its own R&D resources BTESA has a state of the art laboratory which allows the

company to design and fully manufacture all the elements and modules of its various

equipment. This proprietary technology is one of BTESA’s most powerful tools, and allows

complete adaptation of new equipment to the needs of all radio and television broadcasters.

Its Systems Engineering Department ensures the implementation of turn-key system projects in

the most optimal way both technically and economically. Its Quality over Quantity philosophy is

the key to the success of its solutions, strengthened by its expertise in terms of planning, project

management, flexibility, responsiveness and technical efficiency.

Particularly well placed to provide a comprehensive service to ensure success in a highly

With more than one hundred employees, BTESA Technology Group’s headquarters and main

factory are located in Madrid (Spain, EU), in a building of over 8000 square meters placed in a

modern technology park.

Its business and technical services are enhanced thanks to subsidiaries and business partners:

BTESA America (Panama) and BTESA Asia (Indonesia). They coordinate and provide

technical and commercial support to the company’s activities in these regions. A network of

agents and distributors in more than fifty countries; particularly in Asia, where special and

exclusive services are offered.

BTESA’s range of products and services is completed with Wimax technology through its

subsidiary company ALBENTIA SYSTEMS SA, which manufactures and deploys this

technology for the audio video sector.

BTESA has established partnership agreements with leading companies to ensure the

compatibility of its products and the optimization of its technological solutions.

Innovation in products and systems specified to meet the most demanding international

standards is an ongoing process carried out by our engineers and product designers.

Its team of expert engineers working in the R & D laboratory is BTESA’s key active covering the

most diverse technological specialties: software, hardware, mechanical, power and cooling,

among others. All the technical staff has a strong background and a deep expertise in

broadcasting technologies, digital signal processing as well as terrestrial, cable and satellite

transmission technologies.

4.- SYSTEMS ENGINEERING Broadcast systems engineering is one of the company's core activities. To meet customer's

needs, an effective support structure has been established which provides direct access to a

wide range of in-house resources.

Apart from the basic tasks performed by this department on the

requirements definition and technology selection, coordination with

the consumer remains a priority. For this and when all sorts of

technological alternatives are to be considered, the experience of

completed projects is shared in order to strengthen the cooperation.

Regardless of the size or value of the project, BTESA always implements the processes of

certification and validation of all equipment that makes part of the technological system. It is in

this way that BTESA provides the most appropriate and most effective way to complete the

technical objectives within the established budget.

Planning, management and execution of projects are key responsibilities of the Systems

Engineering division to ensure the fulfillment of deadlines considering the different

circumstances of each case, country and location.

BTESA’s commitment to quality assures that each subsystem

is globally certified before delivery. This procedure also

includes the control of aging and climate chamber tests to

ensure operational performance under extreme temperature

conditions. The presence of customers to perform test

procedures and factory acceptance trainings is always

appreciated.

In addition, the technical specifications of the systems are

checked at the time of commissioning, after which the results

and measurements are confirmed with our Systems Engineers.

The same team that plans and implements the system is

responsible for providing training courses for technicians.
