    Tips for Using the XpressRedi-Set-Go'm

    Please read all instructions in the manual that came with your unit before using. Allow

    the unit to preheat before adding ingredients, unless otherwise indicated in the

    recipe. After the unit is plugged into a standard outlet, preheating time is 2 to 3

    minutes. The ready light will go on when the unit is preheated.

    For best results and browning, make sure meat, poultry or fish is at room temperature

    and very dry before adding to the well. Blot with a paper towel if necessary.

    From time to time, you may wish to re-season the cooking surface, especially if you

    experience sticking problems.

    Refer to the manual that came with

    your Xpress Redi-Set-Go'.

    Some foods, especially those with

    a high sugar or low fat content,

    may require the use of a l ight

    coating of nonstick cooking sprayon both the top and the bottom

    surfaces of the cooking well.

    To avoid damage to the nonstick

    surface, use only plastic, nylon,

    wood or specially designed

    utensils for nonstick coatings.

    Avoid using metal or

    sharp objects.

    Do not immerse the unit in water

    or hold under running water.

    Should you have build-up or

    cooked-on food, unplug the unit

    and carefully pour 2 to 4

    Tablespoons of water into the

    well. Close the cover and wait until the unit is completely cool. Using a sponge or

    absorbent cloth, soak up the water and wipe the unit clean. Do not use harsh or abrasive

    cleaners or scouring pads on the nonstick or exterior surfaces, as they may cause damage.

    002/3 cup Bisquick baking mix1/2 cup milk

    1 egg

    1/2 cup shredded cheese

    1/2 small apple, peeled, cored and thinly sliced

    1 tablespoon sugar

    2 tablespoons real bacon bits

    1. Preheat Xpress with divider pan and spray with nonstick cooking

    spray

    2. Place half of apple slices and sugar in each well, close cover and

    cook for 2 minutes

    3. Mix Bisquick, milk and egg and cheese together

    4 . Open l id , div ide bat ter in to wel ls , pour ing over apples

    Apple Sausage PancakesServing Size: 2 Cook Time: 8 minutes

    004 brown and serve sausage links

    2/3 cup baking mix, like Bisquick

    1/3 cup milk

    1 egg

    1/4 cup finely chopped apple

    maple syrup

    1. Spray divider pan of Xpress with nonstick cooking spray

    2. Place 2 sausages in each well, switch on and preheat

    3 . Mix al l o ther ingredient s excep t maple syrup

    4. When heated, pour half of batter in each well over sausage, close

    cover and cook 8 minutes, until pancake is puffed and done

    Bagel French ToastServing Size: 1 Cook Time: 5-7 minutes

    Om1 large bagel, split

    1 ounce cream cheese, f lavored or regular

    1 egg2 tablespoons milk

    1 /2 tablespoon sugar

    1 dash each vanilla and cinnamon

    . Spread bagel with cream cheese, place together like a sandwich and

    cut in half

    . Soak halves in egg mixture for several minutes, turning if

    minutes

    Biscuits and Gravy Brown Sugar MuffinsServing Size: 2 Cook Time: 10 minutes Serving Size: 4 Cook Time: 7 minutes

    @2 patties of brown and serve sausage, diced finely

    1 /2 cup milk

    1 /2 cup water1 tablespoon flour

    1/4 teaspoon pepper

    2/3 cup baking mix (like Bisquick)

    1/3 cup buttermilk or regular milk

    1. Preheat Xpress with divider pan and spray with nonstick

    cooking spray

    2. In small bowl mix baking mix and milk just unt il b lended

    3 . S po on ha lf o f m ix tu re i nt o e ac h w el l

    4. Close l id and cook 10 minutes5. Meanwhile, place sausage into small skillet and heat over

    medium heat for 2 minutes

    6. Mix water, milk and flour and add to sausage, stirring until

    thickened

    7. To serve, split biscuits open, butter lightly if desired and cover

    with gravy

    1/4 cup milk

    1/3 cup brown sugar2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened

    1 egg

    1/2 cup flour mixed wi th

    1 teaspoon baking powder

    1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

    1. Preheat Xpress with divider pan and spray with nonstick

    cooking spray

    2. Mix together oats and mi lk and let s tand fo r 5 minutes

    3. Mix in sugar, butter and egg, stir, then add flour/baking powder

    mixture

    1/4 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded 1
