Brandon Manzonelli Born on 23rd December, 1989 Brandon is an American football player who most recently played for New England Revolution of Major League Soccer. Brandon’s football talent has been apparent from an early age and he was signed by Villarreal at just 16 year od age where he made 25 appearances for the u18’s side, scoring 8 goals and being credited with 10 assists. Brandon also turned out for the reserves and trained alongside some of the best players in world football including Diego Forlan and Juan Roman Riquelme. After trials with Manchester City and Blackburn who both expressed their interest to sign him, Brandon chose to move to the MLS and play competitive first team football rather than remain in a top academy set-up. This decision saw him sign for New England Revolution in 2008 where he made his MLS debut against the New York Red Bulls, scoring in the first half. As well as his club experience, Brandon has also represented the United States at various youth levels, creating 2 goals on his u20 debut and being a pivotal figure for the USA team that travelled to the Milk Cup in Northern Ireland and progressed through the group stages.

“Brandon played here at Villarreal for one year where I played him as an outside attacking midfielder because of his speed and technical skills. He was a good addition to the team and was instrumental in them winning the league that year.” “The only reason Brandon did not extend his stay here with Villarreal is that he could not obtain European citizenship at the time. Overall he is a very good player and very good person with high potential.” Regards, Juan Carlos Garrido Fernandez Manager Villarreal C.F. “Brandon is a talented young professional with great potential.” Regards, Steve Nicol Manager New England Revolution Ex Liverpool player (343 caps) Ex Scotland International (27 caps)
