The day was October 7, 2010.It was a Thursday. It dawned clear and cool, then warmed up nicely for midafternoon.

Your 43,000 neighbours spent that day as they usually do: they went to school; they worked; they played; they lived.

Among them were three Brandon Sun photographers. In shifts, Bruce Bumstead, Colin Corneau and Tim Smith fanned out to document a single 24-hour period in the life of Brandon.

Coordinated by Matt Goerzen and laid out by Grant Hamilton, who also shot video throughout the day, this project shows just a small por-tion of the life that bustles in — and above — our city.
