Originally established by Phillips Petroleum Corporation, USA Earlier known as Cochin Refineries Limited and later renamed as Kochi Refineries LtdKochi Refinery, a unit of BPCL , started 1966 at Ambalamugal ,Kochi , with a capacity of 50,000 barrels per day. It is one of the two Refineries of BPCL, having a crude oil refining capacity of 9.5 Million Metric Tonnes per Annum (MMTPA).
