Oración por el Nuevo Salón Parroquial

Heavenly Father, We thank you for the gift of life and crea-

tion. You are the source of all good things. We the parish-ioners of Blessed Sacrament Church, come before you as a

family with our trust and hope placed before you. We thank you for all your providential care, mercy and love you have shown to us through the history of our parish community.

We thank you for providing us with a New Parish Hall. In-spire in all parishioners the desire to work for our commu-nity and share our time, talent and treasure so that through

generous hearts we may finish to pay for what we owe. Lord Jesus, we ask and knock on your door with the confidence of your word in our hearts, and trusting in your promises be-

cause nothing is impossible for you. May we always give glory to your name and may we, and this financial need, al-

ways be protected and blessed through the intercession of our loving Mother Mary. Amen. Padre Celestial, te agradecemos por el regalo de la creación

y de la vida. Tú eres la fuente de todo lo bueno. Nosotros los feligreses de la Parroquia del Santísimo Sacramento, veni-mos ante Ti como una familia y con nuestra esperanza y

confianza puestas en Ti. Te damos gracias por todo el amor, la misericordia y el cuidado providencial que nos has de-

mostrado a lo largo de la historia de nuestra comunidad pa-rroquial. Te damos gracias por habernos ayudado a construir un Nuevo Salón Parroquial. Inspira en todos los feligreses el

deseo de trabajar por nuestra comunidad y compartir nuestro tiempo, talentos y dinero para que a través de corazones ge-nerosos podamos llevar a término el pago de la deuda adqui-

We are still in awe at how God moves in the hearts of his

people to get his work done! We have received so much

but we are still needing so much more! Please give gener-

United Catholic Appeal

Building Loan: Owed: $1.126.645.06

2016-2017: Pledged $25,258.00 Paid so far $14,863.00 Owed: $10,395.00

We would like extend our gratitude to all the people who

participated, donated and helped in many ways during the

second annual Fall Festival. This was a great recreational

opportunity especially oriented for the kids and for our com-

munity. We would also like to thank all the parish groups for

their presence and collaboration. The total amount raised for

our building fund was of $2,103.09. May God bless your

generosity.

The Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Vir-

gin Mary is a holy day of obligation. Mass will be cele-

brated in honor of the patroness of the United States of

America, Thursday December 8th at 7:00 pm. Please join

us to pray for peace and security in our country. The of-

fice will be closed on this day.

We thank God for the initiative and willingness of Anne

Stitch who is fixing and refinishing the pews of the church.

There is a lot of work to be done and we ask if anyone from

our community is interested in helping her to contact her di-

rectly or the parish office. Thank you Anne for your sacri-

fice, hard work and love for our parish!

Our thankfulness to the Leard Family for suggesting me-

morials to our parish’s building fund. The amount col-

lected was of $1.125. May Hannah Leard and all the

faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace.

Amen.

An update on our Parish Hall: As we see on the second page

of our bulletin what we owe up to date for the construction

is the amount of $1,126,645.06. We need to make every pos-

sible effort, as individuals and as parochial groups, to be

able to pay not only the principal but also the monthly inter-

est. Thank you for being attentive and collaborative in re-

sponding to the obligation that we all have as a parish com-

munity.

We would like to invite you to participate in our Christ-

mas Play “Pastorela” which will be held on December

17th at 7:30pm (after the posada). We still need people

to help make of this a successful event with either dona-

tions, acting, cooking or using your talents in helping in

any way. Please contact the coordinator of the event Lupe

Alamo at 806-341-6218. Thank you.

Join Father Quintero on a pilgrimage to the Marian

Shrines of Portugal, Spain, & France from June 5th to

the 17th of 2017 with everything included. The total cost

to the pilgrimage is #3,797. If you are interested ask Fa-

ther for a Brochure or pick one in the parish office.

We would like to announce that the beginning Monday,

November 21st the parish office will be open from 2 to

5pm. This time will be maintained for a couple of weeks

and then will return to the normal working hours. Thank

Our thanks to the Martinez—Loera family who week by

week donate their time to pick up our bulletins and bring

them to the church. May God bless them abundantly for

their dedication and commitment.

Preparing the Way Campaign Update: “How can I repay

the LORD for all the good done for me?” – Psalm 116:12.

Preparing the Way campaign offers each of us an opportunity

to practice true Christian Stewardship by supporting our dio-

cese and parish. Please do whatever you can to make the

campaign a success in our parish by pledging if you have not

done so. We made our parish goal and raised 253.545, which

equals 114% of our goal. We already got the seventh rebate

for an amount of $1.634.20 which go towards our building

fund. A big thanks to the 105 families who already pledged!

There are two more rooms in the parish hall available for

sell. Maybe you can join other parishioners or families to

buy one of them. Thanks to all of you because this is go-

ing to help us tremendously mainly to furnish and get

what is needed for each room. May God reward you

abundantly.

We would like to invite our youth to participate in the Youth

Group which meet every Friday from 7:00-9:00pm. No need

to register before attending.

Breakfast with Santa: we invite you to participate in this

event which will be held Sunday December 4th. The will

be a great opportunity to take pictures with Santa Claus,

listen to Christmas carols and to participate in raffles,

gifts, and other surprises. Breakfast plates with all the

trimmings, $7 for adults and $5 for children, We will be

in the Parish Hall from 9:00am to 1:00pm.

We would like to thank Evodio Elizondo for his donation of

pumpkins which were sold to help for the building fund. The

amount of $456. May God bless him for the love of our par-

ish.

Thanksgiving Day Mass will be celebrated Thursday No-

vember 24th at 9:00am. No Mass and No adoration Fri-

day November 25th. The office will be closed from

Wednesday November 23rd and will open Monday No-

vember 28th. Let us come and give thanks to the Lord for

all the benefits received!

La Eucaristía en el día de Acción de Gracias se celebrará

el día jueves 24 de noviembre a las 9:00am. No habrá mi-

sa y tampoco adoración del Santísimo el día viernes 25.

La oficina estará cerrada desde el día miércoles 23 y

abrirá el día lunes 28. Vengamos con corazones agradeci-

dos ante la presencia del Señor!

Desayuno con Santa: los invitamos a participar de un

desayuno con Santa Claus el domingo 4 de diciembre.

Esta será una gran oportunidad para tomarse fotos con

Santa, escuchar música navideña y participar de las rifas

y de otras sorpresas y regalos. El desayuno con todo in-

cluido será a $7 por adulto y $5 por niño. Estaremos en el

salón parroquial de 9am a 1pm.

La Solemnidad de la Inmaculada Concepción de la Virgen

María se celebrará el día jueves 8 de diciembre y es consi-

derado día de obligación. La Santa Misa se celebrará a las

7:00 pm. Acompáñenos a honrar a la patrona de este país y

a orar por el bienestar y la seguridad de todos sus habitan-

tes. La oficina estará cerrada en este día.

Nuestro agradecimiento a todas las personas que participa-

ron, donaron y ayudaron de muchas maneras durante el Se-

gundo Festival de Otoño. Esta fue una gran oportunidad para

recrearnos especialmente junto con los niños y crear lazos

fraternos en comunidad. Agradecemos también a todos los

grupos de la parroquia por su presencia y colaboración. El

valor recaudado para nuestro fondo de construcción fue de

Se invita a todos los feligreses a unirse en oración pidiendo

al Señor por más vocaciones a la vida sacerdotal, diaconal,

Pastor por estas necesidades.

torela Navideña la cual se llevará a cabo el día 17 de di-

ciembre a las 7:30 pm. (enseguida de la posada). Aun ne-

cesitamos muchas personas que nos puedan ayudar con

sus talentos para hacer de este un evento exitoso ya sea

donando, actuando, cocinando o prestando cualquier

ayuda que a bien tengan. Por favor comuníquense con la

Todavía tenemos dos salones mas en el salón parroquial dis-

ponibles para la venta. A lo mejor usted puede unirse a

otros feligreses o familias para comprar uno de ellos. Gra-

cias a todos porque esto nos va a ayudar muchísimo princi-

palmente para equipar y conseguir lo que se necesita para

cada salón. Que Dios les recompense abundantemente.

Hemos recibido el séptimo reembolso como resultado del

dinero enviado a la Campaña Preparando el Camino. La

cantidad recibida es de $1.634.20 dólares, los cuales se des-

tinaron al fondo de construcción.

A propósito de nuestro Salón Parroquial: como vemos en la

segunda pagina del boletín la deuda por la construcción al

día de hoy asciende al valor de $1.126.645.06. Necesitamos

hacer cada esfuerzo posible, como individuos y como grupos

parroquiales, para poder pagar no solo el principal sino tam-

bién los intereses mensuales. Gracias por estar atentos y co-

laborativos al responder por esta obligación que tenemos to-

dos como comunidad parroquial.

Damos gracias a Dios por la iniciativa y disponibilidad de

Anne Stich, quien está arreglando y pintando las bancas de

nuestra iglesia. El trabajo es mucho y pedimos que si alguien

de la comunidad está interesado en ayudarle se comunique

con ella directamente o a la oficina. Muchas gracias Anne

por su sacrificado y arduo esfuerzo por amor a nuestra parro-

quia.

Nuestro agradecimiento a la Familia Leard por sugerir me-

moriales a nombre de Hannah Leard para el fondo de cons-

trucción de la parroquia. El valor enviado fue de $1.075.

Acompañe al Padre Quintero a la peregrinación a los

santuarios marianos de Portugal, España y Francia del

5 al 17 de junio de 2017. Valor por persona con todo

incluido $3.797. Quien esté interesado pida un folleto al

padre o en la oficina con toda la información al respec-

to.
