Black CAT Outstation Platform The next generation in traffic monitoring The Black CAT is an intelligent traffic counter combining all of the functionality of CA Traffic’s traditional counter classifiers in to a flexible, modular design with vastly improved specification and functionality. Our in-house developers have combined years or experience to bring to the market a counter with added value, that meets the advanced needs of today’s market whilst considering tomorrow’s technology. The Outstation has the ability to conduct multiple survey types simultaneously, manage and prevent loss of data more effectively and with the Catalyst In-station software package the Black CATs can distribute data to multiple in-stations and users, as well as offering the user advanced fault reporting capabilities. This sophisticated counter is an ITS and Transport Planning solution, with the added value of optional Bluetooth Journey Time technology, Single Loop Classification and Weigh-In-Motion. Designed to work alongside existing networks of CA Traffic Counters and Classifiers, and VDA Pro R2, or Drakewell’s C2 database. With additional software the Black CAT will distribute real- time data to UTMC systems. +44(0) 1296 333499 [email protected] www.ca-traffic.com Alternative power supply includes Battery/Solar and mains supply Various communications options including GSM, GPRS and Ethernet.
